Substrate Preference:

  • Best Substrates: Hardwood sawdust, supplemented with bran.

  • Growing Conditions: Grows best between 16-22°C (60-72°F) with moderate humidity levels (70-85%).

Cultivation Tips:

  • Incubation: Keep the substrate in a dark, warm area during the incubation phase.

  • Fruiting: Once colonized, introduce fresh air and light to encourage fruiting. Maintain a cooler temperature to promote larger, denser fruit.

Harvesting: Harvest when the spines are around 1 cm long for the best texture and flavor.
